Prof. Meyer Discusses "Why L.A. Law Still Matters"

Vermont Law School Professor Philip Meyer spoke at a Stanford Law School symposium titled "Channeling Justice: Television and the Legal Profession" on May 6.
Other speakers included several Stanford Law faculty members and television producers David Kelley, whose shows have included "L.A. Law," "Boston Legal" and "Ally McBeal," and Ben Silverman, whose shows have included "The Office."
Meyer's talk, "Why L.A. Law Still Matters," was based on his chapter "Revisiting L.A. Law" in the 2009 book "Lawyers in Your Living Room! Law On Television," published by the American Bar Association. The book was aimed at both commercial and academic audiences.
