John Evers has been teaching trial advocacy at Vermont Law School since 2000. He has been in private practice as a trial attorney since 1984. He was a partner with Langrock Sperry & Wool in Middlebury, Vermont, until 2006 when he joined O'Neill Kellner & Green in Burlington, Vermont. He has tried numerous cases to verdict and has been recognized in "Best Lawyers in America" for both plaintiff's personal injury and commercial litigation, and by The American Lawyer and Corporate Counsel as a top commercial litigation lawyer. He frequently presents seminars on trial evidence, trial techniques, and jury selection. He is a past president of the Vermont Association for Justice and served on its board of governors. From 1993 to 2006, he was a member of the board of governors of the American Association for Justice. He also served as the Vermont Bar Association's representative to the Vermont Legislature's Medical Malpractice Study Committee in 2005.
