News Media Policy
Vermont Law School provides our students, faculty and staff with a safe, respectful and productive campus environment that encourages freedom of expression. VLS also makes our faculty experts and other resources available to journalists to help them report on news of public interest. Rules regarding news media access are:
- News media personnel are free to contact our students, faculty and staff directly or through our Communications Office.
- News media personnel are allowed on campus with prior permission from our Communications Office.
- News media personnel may photograph and videotape campus building exteriors and grounds, but prior permission is required for the use of still or video images inside campus buildings.
- News media personnel are expected to obey VLS parking and other regulations and to conduct themselves in accord with the code of ethics of the Society of Professional Journalists.
