Customize your education in the nation's most expansive environmental law and policy program.

Vermont Law and Graduate School offers Juris Doctor (JD) degrees with the option to add specializations in animal law, climate law, energy law, food and agricultural law, land use law, or water law. We also offer Master's degrees focused in environmental law and policy: a Master's of Environmental Law and Policy, a Master's of Food and Agriculture Law and Policy, a Master's in Animal Protection Policy, and a Master's in Energy Regulation and Law. Additionally, post-JD students can pursue specialized environmental LLM degrees: the LLM in Environmental Law, LLM in Energy Law, LLM in Animal Law, or the LLM in Food and Agricultural Law.

All of these degrees welcome flexibility. Students in dual-degree programs can combine a JD or Master's with degrees from other institutions, while joint degrees allow for a deeper educational experience and expanded employment options. Master's degrees may be completed in as little as one year or up to five years. And students have the flexibility to complete a Master's or LLM degree on campus, online, or a hybrid of both.
