Article First (FirstSearch)
Coverage from 1990 to present. Contains article citations from over 16,000 sources in the following subject areas: business, science, humanities, social sciences, medicine, technology, and popular culture. Includes information about libraries owning the journals

Business and Company Resource
Offers dynamic, accurate, and up-to-date topical business information and company and industry intelligence on thousands of global companies.

ClasePeriodica (First Search)
CLASE indexes documents published in Latin American journals specializing in the social sciences and humanities, while PERIODICA covers journals specializing in science and technology. Together they offer access to more than 300,000 bibliographic citations from documents published in 2,600 scholarly journals published in the Spanish, Portuguese, French and English languages; containing information from articles, essays, book reviews, monographs, conference proceedings, technical reports, interviews and brief notes published in journals edited in 24 different countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as from publications that focus on Pan-American issues.

Computer Databases
Provides a combination of indexing, abstracts and full text for leading business and technical publications in the computer, telecommunications and electronics industries. Coverage dates vary for each publication.

Ebooks (Firstsearch)
Contains all the online electronic books cataloged by OCLC member libraries.

Ebrary
A collection of thousands of online full-text books and other materials in a variety of subject areas. All are listed in JULIEN, but they can be searched full-text through the Ebrary site.

ECO (Firstsearch)
Includes all of the original content and images of articles, bibliographic information for all journals and lets you view abstracts and full-text articles from journals to which our library subscribes.

ERIC (Firstsearch)
A guide to published and unpublished sources on education. ERIC includes some full-text documents at no charge.

Expanded Academic ASAP
Expanded Academic ASAP is comprised of more than 3,500 indexed and full-text titles — of which 2,100 are peer-reviewed — in all disciplines with more than 20 years of backfile coverage and an intuitive interface that expedites successful searches.

General Onefile
General OneFile is a comprehensive periodical resource that puts more than 60 million articles at your fingertips with a single search query. More than 11,000 titles and backfile coverage from 1980 — from mainstream to specialized sources — and an intuitive search interface make this an unequaled source for virtually every popular, business and professional topic.

General Reference Center Gold
This resource center integrates a vast array of key business and general interest titles from national news magazines and encyclopedias to core business journals.

GPO (Firstsearch)
Covers all types of U.S. government documents, including Congressional reports, hearings, debates, and records; judiciary materials; and documents issued by executive departments (Defense, State, Labor, Office of the President, etc.) and includes a bibliographic citation in each record.

Health and Wellness Reseource Center
Health & Wellness Resource Center delivers up-to-date reference material as well as full-text magazines, journals, and pamphlets from a wide variety of authoritative medical sources.

Julien (VLS-CAT)
Julien is the online catalog for Vermont Law School's Julien and Virginia Cornell Library.

JSTOR
JSTOR is a not-for-profit organization with a dual mission to create and maintain a trusted archive of important scholarly journals, and to provide access to these journals as widely as possible. JSTOR offers researchers the ability to retrieve high-resolution, scanned images of journal issues and pages as they were originally designed, printed, and illustrated. Full text non-law journals in a number of subject areas including Ecology, Anthropology, Economics, History, Political Science, Populations Studies, Sociology, Statistics, etc. Ex., Includes the Journal of Ecology back to 1913 and Ecology back to 1920.

MEDLINE (Firstsearch)
Corresponds to the print indexes Index Medicus, Index to Dental Literature, and International Nursing Index, including thousands of records with substantial abstracts

OAIster (Firstsearch)
Contains digital resources from open archive collections, represents multidisciplinary resources from more than 1000 contributors worldwide and records contain a digital object link allowing users access to the object in a single click.

Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center
Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center is a virtual library of resources from Gale designed to aid students in the study of today's hottest social issues. Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center is a flexible, comprehensive and beneficial search tool supporting high school and academic and public library research.

Oxford Dictionary Online
Oxford Dictionaries Online is Oxford’s innovative modern English dictionary and language reference service.

PapersFirst (FirstSearch)
Covers every published congress, symposium, conference, exposition, workshop and meeting received by The British Library Document Supply Centre.

Proceedings (Firstsearch)
Covers every published congress, symposium, conference, exposition, workshop and meeting received by The British Library Document Supply Centre and contains in each record a list of the papers presented at each conference.

Professional Collection (education)
Gale customers know that our periodical collection is among the largest online collections of current, full-text periodicals available, featuring more than 17,000 titles in all. Many customers, however, may want additional control over their database. In response, Gale developed Custom Journals, an optional suite of features to enhance periodical subscriptions.

Pubmed
Includes over 17 million citations from MEDLINE and other life science journals for biomedical articles back to the 1950s". Includes links to free and fee-based full text articles. To search exclusively for FREE articles, click on "Limits" at the PubMed home page, and select "Links to free full text." Members of the VLS community may submit an ILL request, noting that the article is from PubMed, and the Library will obtain and pay for the article.

Science in Context
Science in Context provides authoritative coverage of subjects from earth and life sciences to technology, mathematics and science history. Its Earth & Environmental Science area includes topic areas such as: Agricultural Science, Air Pollution, Climate and Weather, Coal, Extinction, Fossil Fuels, Fracking, Natural Resource Management, Rare Earth Elements, Scientific Method, Wetlands, and Wind Energy, with links to reference sets including Gale Encyclopedia of Science, Chemical Elements, and Macmillan Science Library. It includes topic overviews and periodical articles from noted publications such as Science Weekly and Science News, as well as images and videos.  Designed for students and researchers in high school and university coursework, this is also helpful as a starting point for many environmental law research projects.

Virtual Reference Library
A collection of sixteen titles multivolume reference ebooks within the areas of: Business, Environment, History, Medicine, Multicultural Studie, Science, and Social Science.

World Almanac (Firstsearch)
Offers fundamental reference sources, such as biographies, encyclopedia entries, facts, statistics, for students, library patrons, library reference staff, and scholars alike.
