2013 Commencement Speaker: Randy Hertz

We welcome Professor Randy Hertz, head of clinical programs at NYU Law, who has long served on the ABA education committee. Professor Hertz was one of the key movers on the MacCrate Report, which marked a turning point in the field of legal education in calling for dramatic changes to the way that legal education is delivered. As an untiring, nationally recognized advocate for clinical legal education, Professor Hertz is someone who completely embodies the spirit of Vermont Law School. Professor Hertz has shown a steadfast commitment to the poor and minorities, and has spent his career advocating for the disadvantaged and underserved.
