Study Abroad Options
Vermont Law School's International and Comparative Law Programs offer many options in terms of length, courses of study, and international locales.
The Study Abroad Semester program offers JD students an opportunity to take courses at one of our partner institutions in Canada, China, France, or Italy for a full semester. Students may also spend an International Semester in Practice in which they earn academic credit while working in supervised externships in intergovernmental organizations, non-governmental organizations, and international firms and associations.
Study-Abroad Seminars offer students an introduction to international and comparative law concepts and the opportunity to travel to a foreign law school for one intensive course.
Summers for the VLS student can include learning opportunities at ABA-accredited law schools around the globe.
