June 14-17: Environmental Justice Exchange Fellows roundtable discussions with U.S. EPA, the U.S. Department of Justice Environment & Natural Resources Division on environmental justice work, the State Department's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Presentations were made by Environmental Justice Fellows at Woodrow Wilson Center China Environment Forum’s speaker series, and a meeting with the Congressional Black Caucus (Washington DC). March 17-22: Professor Zhang Shijun of Shangdong University, a residency scholar at the University of Maryland Law School, visited VLS and presented on China’s environmental public interest litigation to VLS students on March 18.

March 22: Residency scholars Professors Zhou Changling of CUPL and Cai Xiangfeng of Ningbo University attended a presentation on “Greening China’s Bar” at China Environmental Forum, Washington DC.
