U.S.-China Partnership for Environmental Law Brown Bag Lunch Series
Featuring Professor John Echeverria and Myanmar Project Specialist May Aung
Please join us for a presentation and discussion with Professor Echeverria and Ms. Aung on their recent trips to Myanmar and the groundbreaking work that the U.S.-China Parntership is doing there. Both Professor Echeverria and Ms. Aung were in Myanmar recently meeting with high-level government officials to promote the implementation of Environmental Impact Assessment laws. They will be sharing some photographs and insights on working to strengthen environmental governance in a developing nation.
We will also be discussing upcoming (paid or potentially for credit) research opportunities with the U.S.-China Partnership for the summer, as well as other opportunities to work with the China Program. If you are interested in engaging on cutting-edge issues in international environmental law and governance, then please join us on Thursday.
