Vermont Law School offers a Master of Environmental Law and Policy (MELP) degree and a Master of Energy Regulation and Law (MERL) degree, with the opportunity to choose from over 50 courses in environmental law and energy law taught by world-renowned faculty.
Master of Environmental Law and Policy
The one-year MELP program offers students interdisciplinary training in environmental law and policy, science, economics, and public advocacy. Students have the option of earning the degree on a part-time basis over several years. |
Master of Energy Regulation and Law
The one-year MERL program offers intensive training in the law and policy governing energy use, production, and transmission. Students may pursue the degree on a part-time basis over several years. |
