Degrees

University of South Carolina School of Law

Master of Environmental Law and Policy/Juris Doctor (MELP/JD)

The MELP/JD degree with the University of South Dakota School of Law and the University of South Carolina School of Law enables qualified students to earn two degrees in three years: a JD from their home institution and an MELP from Vermont Law School. Students "share" the equivalent of nine credits between the two programs. Dual degree students enroll in Vermont Law School's Summer Session, take Vermont Law School courses by distance learning, and have the option of doing an MELP internship.
