Library Services

Reference Services

The three professional librarians in the reference and research services department, along with one additional librarian from collection management, provide reference and research services to the VLS community and, to a lesser extent, the public. We can help you identify useful materials to answer any research question, no matter how large or small, and help you develop information-gathering strategies and techniques, and help you evaluate your results. Librarians are available to provide reference assistance Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 5:00, or make appointments for individual assistance, contact any of us by phone or email. We also offer individual and group instruction in legal research.
