How do I access Databases off-campus?
You can access them by clicking on Databases and Indexes and then clicking on the Off Campus Link. Please use the username and password that you use to log in at VLS.
How do I find a Journal or an Article?
You can search for a journal using the journal form at the top of the Search for Journals and articles page located at the following pathway: Research Resources/ Search Journals and Articles.
How do I request material through Inter-Library Loan?
You can make a request by going to the Request Material and Services page.
How do I recommend a title for the Library to purchase?
Go to the JULIEN homepage, and click on the "Suggest a Purchase" link on the right hand side of the page.
How do I do advanced searching in the catalog?
Go to the library homepage and click on Go to Advanced Search below the Julien Quick search.
How do I see what new titles the library has recently added?
Go to the JULIEN homepage, and click on the "Newly Acquired Titles" link on the right hand side of the page.
How do I log in to my Library Account?
Go to the JULIEN homepage, click on the "My Library Account" link on the right hand side of the page. Enter your campus email address, and JULIEN PIN and click on the submit button. If you don't have a PIN, or have forgotten yours, click on the "Don't have a PIN? Forgot Yours?" link on the login page.
How do I set up a preferred search in JULIEN?

How do I reset my library account PIN?
If you don't have a PIN, or have forgotten yours, click on the "Don't have a PIN? Forgot yours?" link on the login page.
How do I find the materials on Reserve for the course I am taking?
You can search the online catalog by course name or by course instructor. Reserve items are located in the Reserve Room behind the Circulation Desk. Please ask for the particular item you would like at the Circulation Desk, and library staff will retrieve it for you.
