Lori Malloy is presently dedicated to co-parenting her twin children with her husband, Timon Malloy, a Vermont Law School trustee from 1998 - 2007. Her late father-in-law, Edwin Malloy, served as a Vermont Law School trustee from 1992 - 1998. Before moving to New York City, Ms. Gilmore Malloy was an Assistant U.S. Attorney, and led a multi-disciplinary strategic initiative to study and implement violent crime reduction techniques. Ms. Malloy has also served as a prosecutor for the U.S. Virgin Islands and federal governments; staff attorney for federal and Virgin Islands judiciaries; worked in private practice; and established her own law office. She has published articles focusing on environmental issues and founded several grassroots environmental awareness associations.
Ms. Gilmore Malloy earned her BS at SUNY - Oneota in 1983 before joining the U.S. Peace Corps. Upon returning to the United States, she was awarded her JD at American University's Washington College of Law in 1989.
