Gerard Jones

Gerard Jones practiced law in New York and Connecticut for 40 years. Jones was a partner in the law firm of Richards and O'Neil, LLP, which was acquired by Bingham McCutchen in 2001. He also served as Counsel to Shipman & Goodwin LLP, and as Managing Partner of Corporate Governance Advisors, LLC, a consulting firm, specializing in best practices of governance. Gerry served Adjunct Professor of Law at Vermont Law School from 2006 to 2008 and has taught history for five years at the continuing education affiliate of Dartmouth College. He is a Trustee of the Calvin Coolidge Memorial Foundation, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Nature Conservancy of Vermont.
For over a dozen years, Jones served as a Director of several mutual funds sponsored by Morgan Stanley Investment Management, including the Morgan Stanley Institutional Fund, Inc.
