Dear Friends,
Vermont Law School is extraordinary in many ways. You probably already know about our celebrated environmental and energy law and policy programs. You may not yet know about our joint programs with Yale, Cambridge, Dartmouth, and other leading graduate schools or about our focus on international law. You may not be aware that our faculty of thought leaders is dedicated to working one on one to help each student become an effective advocate.
The unifying principle that binds the Vermont Law School community together is our commitment to public service. Students choose VLS because our faculty and staff are dedicated to preparing them to use their legal training to advocate for their clients and to advance public policy in their community and the world. This commitment to public policy makes us unusual among law schools and greatly enriches the experience of studying here.
