Edwin I. Colodny

Edwin Colodny is currently Of Counsel to the firm of Dinse, Knapp & McAndrew, P.C, Burlington, VT. He previously served as interim president and chief executive officer of Fletcher Allen Health Care, Burlington, after having served as interim president of the University of Vermont from 2001 to 2002. He was Of Counsel to the law firm of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker in the Washington office from 1991 to 2002.
Previously, Mr. Colodny served as chairman of the board of Comsat Corporation, a leading provider of global satellite and digital networking services, and as president, chief executive officer, and chairman of the board of US Airways, Inc. Prior to joining US Airways, Colodny served as a trial attorney with the Civil Aeronautics Board.
Mr. Colodny serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Fletcher Allen Health Care Foundation; is a member of the Board of Directors of the Vermont Symphony; and is a life trustee of the University of Rochester. He has been chairman of the Council for Court Excellence in Washington, has served as trustee of the Shelburne Museum (VT), and as commissioner of the Smithsonian Museum of American Art.
Colodny received his AB with distinction from the University of Rochester and his LLB from Harvard Law School.
